There aren't any stairs, and the door, if it is a door and not a window or something, is at a weird angle. You have to use Clarisse's shoulders as a ladder to lever yourself up and in. You reach down to lend Clarisse your hand, when a sudden yell from the woods makes you look.
"Hey! Hey You!" Shouts a harsh angry voice, and someone who definitely could be an alien stomps into view. You feel pretty sure he is about to add:
"Get down from there, before I SHOOT you!", but instead he just shoots you. Well at you anyway. A blast of blue later fire smashes into the hull of the ship, which rolls in response, send you and your aunt tumbling into the doorway.
The oversized creature, who you can now see has fangs and scales, grunts and takes clumsy aim at you again!
With a shout, Clarisse slams several buttons on a nearby panel and the door slides into place with magical smoothness, just as a second blast rocks the ship. A rumbling roaring sound accompanies the shot this time and a sensation of vertical acceleration presses down on your body.
" Wow! " you exclaim "I can't believe you managed to shut the door in the nick of time like that."
"Yeah, lucky." Agrees Clarisse "Only problem is I'm pretty sure I also just launched us into space!"
A quick look through a the doorway (A large section of it is transparent from the inside) confirms this. The woods and angry laser shooting alien are already far far below you and the sky is filling with stars. In a few minutes, the sensation of pressing acceleration stops, and you find yourself floating in weightlessness.
You swim over to the control panel your aunt found and have a look at all the buttons. There's quite a few. They are all neatly labeled, but in Kaa, which you don't speak. Where to start?!
