going to the moon
The Kaa ship slips quietly into orbit around the moon. You find you are able to make very minor course adjustments but your crude piloting skills are not up to making any major changes.
One your second lap around the moon, you spy something shiny and green below. You manage to swing in for a closer look. It's series of half a dozen transparent domes, arranged in a hex pattern, each containing what look like fields of ripening crops. There is life on the moon!
"And look all around!" exclaims Clarrise "Tires tracks!"
Excitedly you maneuver in for a closer look.
Too excitedly. Like a toddler grabbing a toy, the moon's gravity grabs your space ship. You lose altitude at an alarming rate! You do what little you can to level out before you....
CRAAAASH, plowing a long crunching, crushing divot through the lunar dust. You come to a halt with a jarring thud!
After catching your breath and checking each other for injuries (you are both fine), you have a look out the window to see what you can of your surroundings. You are only half a mile or so away from the shiny domes you saw from space- and several armored figures, armed with spears are bounding across the sand towards you!
