The Lunans really do need more farm land desperately. No one is going really hungry yet, but you can see that it would only take one failed crop to threaten the whole colony.

Unfortunately, building a new glass dome requires a lot of resources that the colony doesn't have. Many plans to solve these problems are proposed. The best seems to be making glass from moon sand. But the work is slow. It may take years to complete.

Your interest in Earth history keeps you searching through vast storrs of computer files in your spare time and one day you see an old video file about the two moon colonies being planned by the people of prewar earth.

Two colonies? You ask around, but no one seems to know anything about another moon colony. One older woman, a friend of Clarrises says that when she was a child she had heard that the other colony either evacuated or didn't survive the wars. But no one has any idea where that colony was. This seems hard to believe but the idea of another set of domes already built an unused is hard to resist. You begin taking a peddle powered moon buggy out looking for it and digging through the archives for clues as to where it might be.

Maybe someday you'll find it: the lost city of the moon. Who knows what you'll find there.
