After the Kaa Wars

When I was a kid I loved the Choose Your Own Adventure series of books. I have fond memories of Christmas break, sitting on the floor, wrapped up in a blanket, hogging the heater vent, paging through the latest COYA books that Santa had brought me. Reading became interactive, not just passive. An exploration, not just entertainment. I could never be sure if I had completely plumbed the mini universes contained in each book. I loved having choices! After the Kaa Wars is my attempt to create my own COYA adventure. Its still under construction, although I have ALOT more written than I have transferred to this website. It turns out that this format of writing is more demanding than I would have guessed at first. Outline one cohesive story? Try 60 interweaving ones! I began this project in 2014 or so, writing on physical paper with a physical pen. It quickly got messy and hard to keep track of, and I was forced to begin experimenting with different ways to organize the various plot path...
